Education has always been a guiding force in Ana’s life. She completed her nursing degree at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska, earning honors. Even after entering her professional life as a nurse practitioner, Ana continues to look for ways to broaden her skills and knowledge by educating herself to offer complete wellness treatment plans for the patients she cares for.
Among Ana’s areas of passion is improving the health care and health literacy of those in her care. These efforts empower patients to access and make use of a wide variety of information and services to help shape and guide their own health journey.
Chronic disease management is also an area of focus within Ana’s practice. She enjoys working closely with patients to improve their experience of chronic health issues and finds it rewarding to help them celebrate their achievements as they move through treatment.

With a career spanning over a decade in nursing, Amparo has dedicated eight years to hemodialysis, three years as a rehabilitation nurse, and two years as a clinical instructor, where she nurtured the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Originally from Peru, Amparo is fluent in Spanish and deeply values her role in serving the Hispanic community in Lincoln. She is passionate about providing primary care, focusing on preventative care and education to empower her patients to achieve optimal health and wellness.
